International conference of the
FLAME OF LOVE Movement in Quito, ECUADOR

The Flame of Love Movement of the Immaculate Heart of Mary has held an international conference with the participation of delegates from countries where the movement is established. The conference took place from August 8-13, 2005 in Quito, capital of the Republic of Ecuador, under the guidance of Fr. Gabriel Róna, S.J., from Hungary, International Coordinator and spiritual guide of the Movement. During this five day conference, the delegates drew up the statutes of the Movement which will soon be presented to the Holy See to obtain the statute of an Association of Faithful. Similarly, numerous organizational decisions were taken, namely the nomination of national coordinators for the countries which took part in the conference. Various internal issues have also been discussed. The participants were coming from nine countries, including Hungary, birthplace of the Flame of Love, Ecuador, Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Peru, Columbia, the United States and Canada.
